Assignment of contract debt
Perhaps you’ve had enough of chasing a particular debt and have found someone who’s prepared to pay you to take it off your hands? If so, use our form to formally assign the debt.
Advice
Assigning a debt is dead easy. Once you’ve found someone who’s prepared to take it over, all you have to do is enter into a deed of assignment. There’s no need to use a solicitor to do this – just insert the names of the parties, the amount that’s owed, together with the amount that you’re receiving, then sign the deed in the presence of a witness.
